I must admit I used to be totally blind and oblivious to the signs of flirting that a woman would give off to me.

So I used to have no idea that a girl was interested in me and I missed a lot of opportunities to date more attractive women. Please don’t make the mistakes that I did and make sure that you don’t learn the hard way.

In order to really understand how attraction works, you need to know how to read the signs a woman gives off when they are flirting with you. Otherwise, you’re going to have no clue what to look for and you’ll probably end up being one of those creepy guys that scares women away.

So the most important flirting tip I’m going to give you is to actually learn how to read signs of interest from women.

So what are these signs that I’m talking about? Normally you have to be pretty good at reading her body language and once you’re able to do that, then you’ll have no problem in detecting whether or not she’s flirting with you. The reason her body language is important is because she’s not going to say “oh I like you” and be so obvious. Women are subtle and like to hint to you what they really think and it’s up to you do figure out what she wants.

The following are common signs you should look out for: 

• her eye contact -  If she happens to look you straight in the eye for more than three seconds than it means she is willing to flirt.  This is a very clear “go and approach me” signal she’s giving to you, so make sure you take the hint! Does she look at you more often than normal people should? Does she look in your direction even when you’re not talking to her? Does she pay attention to what you’re doing even when what you’re doing doesn’t really materially affect her? If so, then she’s kind of flirting with you!
• way too fidgety - if for some reason she’s just playing with her hair or fussing with her bag a lot, especially when you’re around, then it’s a good sign that she’s trying to hide the fact she’s nervous. Why would she be nervous unless she likes you! This is also the same if she’s playing a game on her phone and tries to show you her screen so it makes it easier for you to watch her. These are all subtle hints that you should talk to her.
• notice the distance and the proximity between the two of you -  If for no apparent reason she seems to be moving closer to you, then she probably wants you to talk to her.  So how do you test this? Easy, just start gradually moving away from her and see if she follows you!
• her body posture – study the way she leans or pulls away from you. If you start talking to her, does she lean into you? This is a sign of interest. If she’s scared of you, she’ll actually lean away from you when  you move in to talk to her.
• teasing is the sign that indicates she likes you - often, this is also an indicator that she is already quite comfortable with you, and if she responds with a witty and funny remark to something you have said, then it means you area really doing something right.  Just make sure that when you tease back it will be on an appropriate level.
• does she touch you - Touching is another flirting sign that men should look out for. Now, you have to remember that it is not only the hands that must be touching you.  One of the most common ways a woman indicates her interest in you is she gently brushes your hand on either your arm, shoulder or elbow when she makes a remark. This is a clear sign she likes you.

So there you have it, these are some ways to tell if she’s flirting. Now if you want to tease her in a more obvious way, you should consider probing a little more about her. For example, if she looks like she’s a student, then ask her what she’s studying. Listen to her remarks. If she tells you a lot about what she studies and where and the reason why, then it’s a good sign that she wants to let you know more information about her – even though you didn’t ask for it.

So why would she want to do that?

Obviously because she’s flirting with you!
